Energizing Panasonic’s Online Battery Presence
Panasonic Energy, a global leader in battery technology, sought to enhance its digital presence with an interactive and user-friendly website for its diverse range of battery products. The goal was to make it easier for consumers to find the exact battery they need and connect them with retailers for purchase.
Plan of ATTCK
Panasonic Energy needed a robust platform to showcase its extensive product inventory, facilitate easy product discovery, and guide users to purchasing options. ATTCK partnered with the talented design team at Creative Matters Agency (Los Angeles) to bring Panasonic’s vision to life. Creative Matters Agency spearheaded the visual design and user experience strategy, while ATTCK focused on the technical development, custom integrations, and seamless functionality.
Key Fob Battery Finder
A cornerstone of the project was the development of a user-centric Key Fob Battery Finder. This custom tool allows users to easily identify the correct replacement battery for their specific vehicle key fob, simplifying a common consumer pain point.
WooCommerce for Inventory Management
Leveraging the flexibility of WordPress and WooCommerce (used here as a catalog system, not for direct e-commerce), we built a system to manage and display Panasonic’s vast battery inventory efficiently.
Custom System Integration
We developed custom integrations to ensure product information was accurate and easily maintainable, connecting with Panasonic’s internal product data sources.
Streamlined Path to Purchase
While the site doesn’t facilitate direct sales, it seamlessly links users to external retailers, driving traffic and potential sales to Panasonic’s valued partners.
Customizable layout
In addition to building controlled layouts for their various product taxonomies, we used our custom layout platform, FLEX, to provide a distinctive experience across static pages.
Development
We developed a tailored WordPress theme that perfectly matched the new design, ensuring responsiveness across all devices and optimized performance. A key deliverable was the creation of a significantly improved content authoring workflow. We structured the backend of WordPress to be intuitive, allowing Panasonic to easily update page content, product information, and FOB support data without requiring deep technical expertise.

The new panasonicbatteryproducts.com website provides a significantly improved user experience. Customers can now effortlessly navigate Panasonic’s offerings, utilize the intuitive Key Fob Battery Finder, and easily find where to purchase the products they need. The platform empowers Panasonic Energy with a modern, scalable solution that effectively supports its customers and retail partners.
